Make sure you update your old browsers

Time to Upgrade

Is your browser up to date? If not you could be more vulnerable to viruses and other security issues. On top of that old browsers are slower, crash more often and may not display new websites properly.

We own the domain 1eighty.co in case we ever need a short URL for our marketing. Instead of leaving it blank or simply redirecting it we put up a bit of information about 1Eighty Design with links to this site and our official website. We used HTML5 and some CSS3 to quickly create the design.

Old Browser Comparison

You can see in the image above two screen captures of the exact same website in two different browsers. The one on the right is Internet Explorer 8 while the one on the left is the current version of Firefox. Just so you know, Internet Explorer is currently on version 9 with 10 possibly coming out this year.

There are ways to develop websites to keep a consistent look across multiple browsers and their different versions. We take that into consideration when developing your site.

Make sure you’re getting the best user experience you can and keep your browser up to date!
